Excellent food, great atmosphere. We loved this place so much we ate here both nights we stayed in Oakhurst. Far above anything else in town.
First visit here and we were pleasantly surprised with delicious authentic mexican food and great customer service!The moment we tasted the chips and salsa we knew we were in good hands. My group had Multiple of the menu items and none disappointed. Birria plate flavorful and filling, al pastor nachos the chips are so crispy and al pastor has delicious marinade. Gordita and sopes are small but fire, tacos al pastor lots of yummy meat handmade tortillas. Drinks, Paloma and micheladas are great choices!
Don't be fooled by the location in the strip mall. This is a wonderful, authentic Mexican restaurant with a lot of fresh recipes and delicious drinks. Ask about the daily specials. We got the beef rib tacos and the pork tamales. Both outstanding.
Decent food and well-priced. Come for lunch or dinner, and you won't regret it. The Service was FIVE stars and the environment if friendly.
This is a wonderful Mexican restaurant in Oakhurst. The food was authentic. Tasty and beautifully served. There were several male waiters and they were very polite and helpful. I had a wonderful taco and bowl of soup.
Excellent service and excellent food. We walked in at about 7.30 pm. The place was busy. We were promptly seated. Our server was excellent. He brought us samples of beer to try before ordering. We ordered carne asada and chicken tacos. The food was delicious. Keep up the great work guys.
Really cool place with great home feel and a darker lighting environment. The service was fast for being a packed house. Margaritas are good and the food was very good. The one weird thing that happened was they brought us drinks we didn't order twice. We returned the first two and when I ordered one drink on my second round and they brought my wife another, even though she didn't order it. We ended up keeping hers and the server came by without us saying anything and apologized for bringing extra drinks, but still charged us for my wife's drink. We did drink it, but........... So, don't know if this was really a mistake or tourist up-charging, but I will hope it was just a mistake-TWICE.
I came for lunch before heading to Ahwahnee. It's delicious!! Best chips and salsa I've had. Who would have thought Oakhurst for Mexican food?? Lol.
I got the Salsa Verde Enchiladas (chicken). I recommend this restaurant!! Cinco estrellas.
